Position Title: Senior Global Network Administrator
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Director of Information Technology (Temporarily until Sr. Manager of Corporate Security & Infrastructure is hired).
Location: Guelph, ON (Hybrid)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Global Network Administrator to join our team. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing our network, cloud, and infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, cloud infrastructure, and IT infrastructure management, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support business operations.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of network and cloud systems.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions into all aspects of the company's operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network, cloud, and infrastructure configurations and procedures.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in network, cloud, and infrastructure engineering.
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in network engineering, cloud infrastructure, and IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
