Job Summary: The position will include:
Overseeing production orders and a production team
Oversee shipping/receiving and inventory
Verify all Product has components available when ordered, and creating component kits for Production staff builds
Oversee kitting of drop in orders
Verify that Product is completed in a timely fashion, tested to meet design specifications, quality checked, and meets all Product completion deadlines
Managing a production schedule, being able to prioritize as needed, as well as working to assist Research and Development with Prototype needs
Managing and improving assembly times
Improving production process and assisting in identifying potential design or production flaws
Liaising and communicating with internal staff and customers on Product details and completion dates
Contract other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and on time production of Product
Handling and resolving any quality or deadline issues proactively
Managing staff training and growth
Assisting with Contract Manufacturer handoff, assembly videos, verifying build times, confirming Bill of Materials are correct, and identifying potential production issues
Requires good computer skills, with electronic follow through of Product details and communications
Manage long lead-time assembly Products and verify inventory levels to verify on time Product completions
Position may also include other tasks as required by Company
Applicant Qualifications:
Legally entitled to live and work in Canada
Must be proficient in MS Excel, Office, and other general computer skills
Possess leadership abilities, and be able to manage a team of production staff
Passionate about quality Product and on time completions
Solving production problems
Remains composed under pressure, calm and patient demeanor when dealing with contacts
Maintaining regular schedule with occasional extended hours
Enjoy people and interaction in the professional environment
Self-motivated to initiate and complete tasks and solve problems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
