Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents, performing in-depth analysis and mitigation across multiple platforms
• Operate, maintain, and optimize key cybersecurity tools including EDR, SIEM, PAM, vulnerability scanners, MFA, and more
• Develop and implement security monitoring use cases, KPIs, and meaningful operational reports
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts across IT infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate security incidents and enhance enterprise security posture
• Contribute to incident response planning, knowledge sharing, and mentorship within the cybersecurity team

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations within a complex IT environment
• Proven expertise with cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEMs, PAM, and secure email gateways
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, enterprise systems, and Microsoft security tools (e.g., AD, Azure AD, Microsoft Defender)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, Security+) are an asset

Pay Rate: $95-130k.year
