Role Overview:
The Event Sales Coordinator plays a key role in driving event revenue growth by identifying, cultivating, and securing event partnerships. You will be responsible for creating meaningful alliances within the event and hospitality industry, developing relationships with planners, venues, and organizers, and actively selling Eminent Valet's services to ensure seamless guest experiences at private, public, and corporate events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales
- Proactively seek out new event opportunities across markets (weddings, galas, corporate functions, festivals, private events, etc.)
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of event leads through outreach, networking, and partnerships
- Prepare and deliver custom proposals, quotes, and follow-ups to clients and event organizers
- Conduct site visits and liaise with event planners to understand logistical needs and ensure flawless execution
Relationship Building
- Build long-term alliances with event planners, venues, production companies, DMCs, and luxury brands
- Represent Eminent Valet at industry mixers, trade shows, expos, and networking events
- Leverage relationships to create referral partnerships and recurring event bookings
Event Coordination & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure staffing and logistics align with event requirements
- Coordinate handovers between sales and operations to maintain service excellence
- Monitor event execution feedback to refine future offerings and client satisfaction
- Sales Strategy & Reporting
- Track sales activity, targets, and conversion rates using CRM tools
- Provide monthly reporting on event bookings, pipeline development, and revenue projections
- Stay informed on event industry trends, competitor offerings, and local market dynamics
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience in sales, event coordination, or hospitality
- Strong network in the event planning, hospitality, or venue space is an asset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter with a hunter mindset and ability to work independently
- Passion for creating high-touch, luxury experiences
- Ability to manage multiple leads, proposals, and deadlines simultaneously
- Willingness to attend events, work occasional evenings/weekends as needed
