LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager (Data Governance) for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa based client.

Key Tasks

• Oversee the execution of projects related to the organizations Data Governance initiatives and Infrastructure projects.
• This may include activities such as the implementation of development pipelines and related SDLC processes in GitHub and implementation of data analytics, reporting and governance using MS Fabric and MS Purview.
• Conduct project initiation activities, including charter development (Project objectives, scope, RACI etc.).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate collaboration and communication.
• Track project risks and mitigation plans.
• Establish key project phases and completion dates.
• Maintain detailed project documentation.

Key Qualifications

• Recent and demonstrated experience Leading and Supporting Enterprise-wide Data Governance projects and work streams.
• Strong background and experience Leading Data Governance projects in a Project Manager Capacity where the Business is a primary stakeholder.
• Foundational knowledge and understanding of data technology tools as well as processes related to proper data governance.

Assets:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview
• Knowledge of Microsoft Data Fabric
• PMP certification
• Knowledge of AI strategy and tools to prepare for future AI adoption
