Job Title: Solutions Architect (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)

Vacation Allowance: 4 weeks

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Flexible between 7 AM - 6 PM)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Location Requirement: At least 2 days per week in the head office located in Burlington, Ontario

Position Summary

We are seeking a Solutions Architect with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Navision) to join our growing IT team. This is a brand-new role created due to significant business expansion, system modernization efforts, and multiple upcoming enterprise-level projects, including the integration of newly acquired companies and legacy system upgrades.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and communicative technology leader with deep experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, specifically around procure-to-pay, supply chain, and finance workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive integration solutions to support enterprise systems.
• Lead the architecture and design of business systems, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define functional and technical solutions.
• Guide and support the technical delivery of IT projects from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, system design specs, and solution blueprints.
• Improve current system scalability, performance, and responsiveness through optimization and innovation.
• Enforce and enhance standards, governance, and procedures across technical and vendor-delivered solutions.
• Communicate complex technical ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 6+ years in solution architecture or similar roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Navision)
• Involved in at least 2 full lifecycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Strong understanding of modules related to procurement, supply chain, and finance
• Experience in data integration and ETL processes
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and related tools
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• University Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, ITIL)
• Experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Business Architecture roles
