Position: Senior IT Security Analyst
Role Summary: Responsible for managing day-to-day and project activities to meet SCC standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage security solutions for infrastructure, access, identity, networking, databases, servers, and cloud.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies and procedures, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
- Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), and enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Integrate IAM with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure) and on-prem systems for centralized identity governance.
- Design, deploy, and configure security solutions.
- Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM tools.
- Resolve security incidents promptly.
- Assess threats and act as Information Security expert.
- Develop incident response plans and conduct training.
- Facilitate vulnerability remediation and conduct security audits.
- Research emerging threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide security posture insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years in IT Security and 10+ years in IT, or equivalent experience.
- Retail industry experience preferred.
- Leadership abilities and effective knowledge sharing.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Expertise in securing on-prem infrastructure, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Knowledge of Microsoft security tools, firewalls (Palo Alto), DNS, Cloudflare, Switches, Citrix.
- Understanding of Information Security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, ZTNA).
- Hands-on experience in security incident resolution.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and adapt to change.
- High critical thinking skills and ability to transfer knowledge.
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CEH, GIAC, SANS) preferred.
