We are hiring for our client in the financial services industry.

Duration: 6 months

Job Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable and reusable data models.
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business goals.
• Reverse engineer physical data models from databases and SQL scripts as needed.
• Develop and enforce best practices for data modeling standards and naming conventions.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and model discrepancies.
• Own data definitions, data lineage documentation, and metadata management.
• Recommend reuse of existing models and support integration across multiple systems.
• Support data integration, analytics, and reporting with a strong understanding of OLAP and BI principles.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years focused on hands-on data modeling.
• Proven expertise in PowerDesigner or ERwin for data modeling.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills; able to perform modeling and development independently.
• Experience with Azure solutions, Databricks, RDBMS, and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop).
• Familiarity with analytics/reporting environments and BI tools.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
