The Opportunity

Our client, a rapidly growing healthcare organization with a large network of clinics across Canada, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Recruitment to lead their national recruitment function. This leader will be instrumental in elevating the company's talent brand, attracting top-tier healthcare professionals, and building a high-performing, mission-driven recruitment team that stands out as a differentiator in the industry.

This is more than just a recruitment role - it's an opportunity to reshape how talent is attracted, inspired, and mobilized to deliver high-quality care across the country. If you're energized by purpose, inspired by people, and excited to make a meaningful impact, this may be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing and implementing a forward-thinking, scalable talent acquisition strategy aligned with aggressive growth targets and national workforce plans
  • Inspiring, coaching, and elevating a team of TA professionals while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and impact
  • Partnering closely with clinical and corporate leaders to understand hiring needs, workforce trends, and talent gaps
  • Building and executing national and international campus recruitment initiatives that develop early-career pipelines and strengthen the company's reputation among emerging professionals
  • Driving the execution of a compelling employer brand and EVP to enhance visibility and reputation as an employer of choice
  • Leveraging recruitment metrics and KPIs to demonstrate impact, optimize processes, and influence decisions at the leadership and board level
  • Staying on top of industry trends, tools, and technologies to implement best-in-class practices that improve candidate experience and recruitment outcomes

What You Require To Be Successful:

  • Proven experience leading national talent acquisition strategies in healthcare or a similar high-compliance, service-driven industry in a multi-unit/location environment
  • A track record of leading high-performing recruitment teams
  • Experience designing and executing large-scale campus and early-career talent programs
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to confidently engage and influence senior stakeholders and board members
  • Demonstrated success in transforming recruitment teams into strategic business enablers and employer brand ambassadors
  • Passion for building inclusive, mission-aligned teams that thrive in fast-paced, high-impact environments
  • Deep knowledge of recruitment data and analytics, with comfort presenting insights and recommendations to senior audiences
