In this critical role, you'll be both a working technician and a team leader.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role while staying close to the tools - perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and takes pride in problem-solving and preventive maintenance.

What You'll Do

  • Perform general building repairs, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing fixes, and preventive maintenance.
  • Supervise, mentor, and delegate work to a team of maintenance technicians and custodial staff.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments for larger repairs or renovations.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and spare parts.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Solid knowledge of building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and willingness to travel between sites.
  • Trade certification (e.g., Electrician, Millwright, HVAC Technician) is an asset but not required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • On-call premium and paid overtime for emergency response
  • Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, and more)
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Tool and PPE allowance
  • Opportunities for growth and skill development in a supportive environment

How to Apply

If you're ready to take the next step in your maintenance career and enjoy variety, responsibility, and leadership - we want to hear from you! Submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and why you're a great fit for this role.
