Summary:
Responsible for effectively planning, designing and developing sales strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization within the Greater Montreal Marketplace. This role will be primarily internally facing, focused heavily on sales process development/management, term review, scope review and pricing development.
Responsibilities:
- Heavily focus on the technical execution of all aspects related to bids
Lead RFP Solution/Proposal Development by assembling the team and assigning responsibilities
Initial Review of RFP Documents and Scope Analysis
Prepare a Go/No Go Analysis
Responsible for delivering final pricing recommendations
Interface heavily with internal teams (legal, estimation, pricing)
Review MSAs and contracts to approve/adjust terms
Work closely with bid writing team to prepare and finalize client presentations
Lead internal executive approval process
- Providing technical sales support/expertise, bridging the gap between sales team and end-users by offering technical & analytical expertise and solutions to complex problems
- Evaluate and redesign sales process in place
- Oversight of regional business development team in place
Heavy emphasis on training and development
Oversight of pricing, proposal generation and presentation process of team
Succession planning
- Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be a highly analytical individual with a strong technical acumen related to RFP solutioning/proposal development
- Must be comfortable in a more inward-facing leadership role vs. client-facing
- Must be bilingual (French/English)
- Experience with leading and development of sales teams
- Experience withing Commercial Facilities Services, Construction or Engineering verticals highly preferred.
- Must have experience with evaluating and redesigning sales processes to achieve desired results
