Sr. IT Business Analyst

Our client is a global organization, named one of the largest in the Automobile industry! They are rapidly growing and going through a robust digital transformation. The business and senior leadership have put a huge emphasis on technology initiatives and are looking for passionate team members to contribute to the growth and development of the technical environment.

As a Senior Business Analyst you will work closely with stakeholders, product teams as well as technical teams to improve overall performance of systems and drive vendor partnerships, ensuring that these external relationships support the company's strategic goals and operational efficiency. In a functional capacity you will be expected to understand system workflows, and write technical and non-technical requirements. Additionally, you will act as a senior member of the team and contribute to decision-making through insightful analysis and forecasting to help improve the overall efficiency for these systems.

Day to Day Expectation

• Evaluate current operational procedures, identify inefficiencies, and propose strategies to achieve operational excellence.
• Assess and refine operational processes to eliminate inefficiencies, with a keen focus on mitigating vendor-related challenges through strategic solutions.
• Gather and decipher data related to specific systems and translate your findings into understandable insights and actionable requirements.
• Forge close partnerships with departments such as product and IT to ensure alignment in operational strategies.
• Employ historical data and industry trends to anticipate production requirements, potential bottlenecks, and operational hurdles.
• Collaborate with the operations team to design and implement new procedures that are efficient, scalable, and congruent with the company's strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with the IT department to propose and implement technological solutions that can augment operational efficiency.
• Generate regular reports highlighting operational performance, challenges, and opportunities and present these findings to senior management.
• Generate comprehensive reports that not only highlight operational performance but also detail vendor-related challenges and the strategies implemented to resolve them.
• Write technical and non-technical requirements that can be passed on to various teams.
• Provide guidance to operational teams during the implementation of new processes or tools, including training and ongoing support.
• Identify possible operational risks and develop strategies for risk reduction.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and industry best practices in the automotive sector to ensure the ongoing competitiveness of our operations.

Experience

• At least 8+ years in a Business Analyst role or Senior Business Analyst role
• Ability to drive the relationship with integral vendors and technical Product Owner
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT
• Experience creating detailed reports for senior leadership
• Functional understanding of technology
• Knowledge of automotive industry operations and best practices a plus
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
