Our client is hiring for an Office Manager (Contract) to provide essential administrative and HR support at a long-term care facility. This role involves a blend of day-to-day administrative duties with a focus on payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and employee data entry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment while supporting both internal operations and resident/family interactions.
- Location and work model: On-site in Vaughan
- Pay rate: $28/hour
- Schedule/hours: Full time Monday to Friday
- Contract duration: Initial 4-6 weeks, with a possibility of extension
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support across multiple functions
- Handle accounts receivable, billing, and accounts payable tasks
- Process payroll for approximately 200 biweekly employees
- Enter and maintain employee information and updates in payroll systems
- Support benefit enrollments, changes, and related HR documentation
- Assist with onboarding of new hires and employee data updates
- Interact with residents and families, responding to general inquiries
- Ensure accurate invoice processing and payroll entries
- Collaborate with scheduling personnel to implement payroll changes
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in office administration and management
- Experience with PointClickCare or similar systems for billing and AP/AR tasks
- Strong experience with payroll processing and benefit administration
- Experience in a healthcare or long-term care is a must
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Must have completed or be willing to complete:
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Tuberculosis testing
- Ability to work on-site and start immediately
