Our client is looking for a HR Business Partner for a 1+ year contract to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role with 3 days required onsite with a team day on Wednesday. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a large growing organization
In this role you will:
Consult with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business performance and align with the organization's overall objectives.

Provide expert guidance and support on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
•
Leverage data insights to proactively identify the most pressing talent opportunities and challenges throughout the business unit or function and collaborate with leaders to design effective strategies.
•
In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team, drive talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, and selection processes.
•
Develop and implement strategies for talent development in partnership with the talent COE, including training, coaching, and career development programs.
•
Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
•
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
•
Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback.
•
Provide coaching and support to managers in addressing performance issues and developing performance improvement plans.
•
Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and implement change management initiatives.
•
Support the development and implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.
•
Prepare and present reports on HR activities and initiatives to senior management.
•
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in Human Resources
OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in Human Resources
Skills and Qualifications:

Sound business acumen that includes general operational processes, financial management and business planning knowledge
•
Facilitation skills and organizational team diagnosis and development
•
Strong capability to partner and build credibility with management
•
Advanced HR Data analysis skills: ability to analyze, interpret and communicate data insights to drive talent initiatives
•
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
•
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
•
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
•
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
•
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software
•
CHRP or CHRL in Progress (an asset)
•
Bilingualism (an asset)
