In this impactful role, you'll serve as a trusted financial advocate and educator-helping clients overcome debt, rebuild credit, and achieve lasting financial stability. What You'll Do:
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one support to individuals and families facing financial challenges.
- Develop personalized money management and budgeting plans to help clients take control of their finances.
- Guide clients toward sustainable solutions for debt relief and financial wellness.
- Use CRM and case management tools to track progress and ensure follow-through.
- Build trust and rapport with clients, empowering them to make informed financial decisions.
- Collaborate with creditors, community agencies, and business partners to advocate for clients and provide referrals.
- Contribute to team and agency goals while participating in financial education workshops and presentations.
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of experience delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Background in credit counselling, financial services, or the credit industry (an asset).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Track record of consistently meeting performance targets.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of personal finance.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a respectful and empathetic manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
