Job Description:
- This role is essential in assisting our customers following the deployment of Windows 11 ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any technical issues that may arise. We are looking for experience with Win10 - Win11 service desk and onsite support soft skills.
- These resources will primarily be augmenting your service desk with the flexibility to do floor walking at sites based on needs.
- Customer Support Provide first level support to customers experiencing issues post Windows 11 deployment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems, including network connectivity issues, application malfunctions, and operating system errors.
- Installation and Configuration Assist in the installation configuration and maintenance of Windows 11 operating systems and application on customer devices.
- Support: Providing remote and on-site assistance to users, answering questions, and guiding them through technical procedures.
- System Maintenance: Whenever needed, performing regular backups, applying security patches, and ensuring the overall health and performance of desktop systems.
- Documentation Maintain detailed records of customer interactions solutions provided and technical issues encountered. Maintain knowledge base (SOPs, KEDBs etc).
- Training Conduct training sessions for customers to familiarize them with Windows 11 features and functionalities.
- Updates and Upgrades Manage and execute updates and upgrades to Windows 11 systems, as necessary.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to ensure cohesive support and problem resolution. Connect with the requester and provide regular work updates until issue resolution.
