Snr Android Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a talented developer to help build the next iteration of our mobile platform. We value individuals who take pride in their work and are eager to learn, whether or not they have prior experience with our stack. You'll collaborate with a skilled and committed team, contributing to our product, technical design, and overall engineering culture.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and launch new features for our Android app
• Establish engineering processes, tools, and systems to enhance scalability and developer productivity
• Conduct code reviews and help set engineering standards
• Work with Product and Design teams to define key features that will drive app success
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer feedback and continuously improve the product

What You Need

• At least +3 year of experience in Android development
• Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development
• Experience launching at least one mobile app or several features that reached a large user base
• Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices
• Knowledge of Android UI components and the Android SDK
• A passion for working in a fast-paced environment and continuously improving your skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with our mobile stack: Jetpack Compose, MVVM, coroutines, flows, and Bitrise
• Familiarity with web technologies (React, JavaScript, etc.)
• Experience with backend technologies (Python, Flask, SQL, OpenAPI, etc.)
• Knowledge of managing apps in the Google Play Console
