Cloud Operations Manager

Permanent Direct Hire Permanent Role

Location: Toronto (Hybrid 2-3 days/week onsite)

Salary: 135 K- 140 K Base plus additional benefits

Requirements:

IT Operations Management:

• 10+ years of experience in IT operations and team management for team resourcing, career development and talent management, goal setting, assessment of performance, guidance/coaching, and more.

Cloud Operations:

• 5 years focused on cloud infrastructure services.
• Proven experience in managing cloud environments (AWS or Azure) at an enterprise scale.
• Experience in automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Azure Monitoring, etc.).
• Must have exposure to networking, security best practices, and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, NIST, etc.).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Certifications in cloud technologies.
• Industry-accepted certifications in the management space.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in banking and financial institutions and/or large enterprise IT environments is desirable.
