Please note, this position will require some driving to different work sites therefore you must have a valid drivers license and be insurable to operate company vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Manage safety records, documentation, and vendor pre-qualification portals
- Support safety audits and help align operational practices with regulatory and internal standards
- Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions, adjusting to a variety of learning styles and comfort levels
- Build approachable, professional relationships with frontline teams to promote a consistent safety culture
- Maintain WCB claims files and reporting
- Participate in policy reviews, offering input and recommendations
- Work collaboratively with leadership, providing updates and insights while running with assigned projects independently
Who You Are:
- A reliable, adaptable individual with strong organizational and communication skills
- Health and safety exposure and/or education is required. Experience with HSE Management systems or vendor compliance systems is an asset
- Naturally approachable, able to build trust while reinforcing safety expectations
- Comfortable having tough conversations and maintaining accountability - professionally and respectfully
- Confident in writing clear, professional emails and documentation
- Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable to operate company vehicles
