We are currently working with a mission-driven, well-funded environmental organization that is leading large-scale conservation efforts across British Columbia. With a $300M conservation fund under management and an ambitious vision for ecological preservation and community partnership, the organization is seeking a strategic and operational leader to oversee the delivery of their flagship granting programs.
This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional who is passionate about conservation and has a track record of managing public or philanthropic grant-making operations. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of policy, community engagement, and program implementation to drive meaningful, long-term environmental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day delivery of grant programs, including full-cycle management of applications, agreements, monitoring, and reporting.
- Refine internal systems and processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and accessibility.
- Develop and maintain clear, transparent policies and operational guidance for multiple funding streams.
- Design and implement new grant programs to support innovation, education, and collaborative conservation initiatives.
- Support grantees with onboarding, capacity building, and best-practice sharing.
- Supervise a small, skilled team and oversee relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Indigenous partners, government agencies, and environmental organizations.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join our senior management team. You will be responsible for leading the company's day-to-day business operations (managing the company budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues).

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline 5 -10 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in product management
