Position Title: Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Reports to: Director, Talent , Culture & Engagement
We are seeking a strategic, action-oriented professional to lead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across a complex, high-impact organization. In this role, the individual will act as both a visionary and an executor, responsible for driving the implementation of cultural change efforts that support inclusivity, equity, and belonging. They will work in close partnership with internal stakeholders to shape and implement an enterprise-wide approach that is data-informed and sustainable. The person in this position will provide expert advice, facilitate program delivery, and ensure alignment across various teams, while also being accountable for tracking progress and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
The role requires someone with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams involving both people and policy. This includes designing scalable programs, leading internal teams focused on equity-related work, and integrating inclusive practices into broader talent and communication functions. It will also involve coordinating with multiple internal partners to deliver learning experiences and organizational engagement efforts that are inclusive and equitable. The ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, support employee-driven networks, and maintain operational continuity for council and advisory groups will be essential. Success in this role will depend on one's ability to drive outcomes, adapt to evolving needs, and maintain a high level of confidentiality and strategic thinking.
A suitable candidate will bring a minimum of eight years of progressive experience within organizational environments, with at least five years in a role involving leadership, strategic influence, or program management. At least three years of specific experience focused on equity and inclusion strategies is expected. Education should include a diploma or degree in a related field, supplemented by formal training in DEI principles or comparable lived/professional experience. Project management certification is considered an asset. Candidates should possess advanced skills in stakeholder engagement, data interpretation, and cultural change facilitation. The ideal person will have a strong sense of purpose, excellent communication abilities, and a grounded commitment to equity in both strategy and practice.
