POSITION: Director of Sales

REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

CLIENT BASE: North American dealer/distributor network in the home improvement industry

SCOPE: Lead national sales strategy for a $100M+ manufacturer, managing dealer development, business development, and retail showroom integration.

Drive revenue, expand market share, and strengthen dealer relationships across the U.S. and Canada.

GEOGRAPHY: North America (U.S. and Canada focus)

Must be located in Manitoba - Greater Winnipeg Area

TRAVEL: Moderate travel to key markets, showrooms, and dealer locations

REMUNERATION: $150,000 - $180,000 + Company Vehicle

On-Target-Earnings: $250,000

ROLE SPECIFICS:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve aggressive growth targets
  • Oversee dealer development, showroom operations, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team across multiple channels
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience to align business objectives
  • Analyze market data, pipeline health, and dealer performance to refine go-to-market strategy
  • Represent the brand in key customer interactions and strategic market opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8-10+ years of progressive sales experience, including 5+ in a leadership role, B2B sales
  • Proven success managing a B2B dealer/distributor sales model across North America a strong asset
  • Strong understanding of market analytics, KPIs, and team performance metrics
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing; MBA is an asset
  • High integrity, humble leadership style, and passion for developing people and partnerships
