Pay Rate: $45-$55/hour

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Supplier Readiness Specialist to support a leading aerospace component manufacturing facility in Calgary. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in supply chain operations, manufacturing engineering, and supplier readiness in a high-precision production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and validate supplier readiness for aerospace component production
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure capacity, capability, and quality expectations are met prior to production launch
• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply base to avoid disruptions
• Conduct supplier audits, readiness reviews, and performance monitoring
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, quality, and production teams
• Develop and track action plans to ensure supplier timelines and deliverables are aligned with project requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing engineering within an industrial or aerospace setting
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supplier performance management
• Experience working directly with suppliers to resolve readiness or capacity challenges
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand product specifications
• Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills

Preferred:

• Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing industries
• Familiarity with supplier onboarding and development processes

Additional Details:

• Position is based onsite at the client's Calgary facility
• Full-time hours (day shift), contract role
• Compensation: $45-$55/hour depending on experience
