What we need from you:

  • 310S Automotive Service technician certification required.
  • Experience with small engine repair and landscaping equipment (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems is an asset.
  • Have a strong commitment to integrity and ethical conduct in all interactions
  • Maintains professionalism and respectful communication, avoiding inappropriate language or behavior.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Valid G driver's license
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform physically active tasks as needed

What you will do:

Fleet & Equipment Maintenance:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair company vehicles (pickup trucks, trailers, etc.)
  • Perform routine maintenance on small engines (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
  • Service and repair landscaping tools, including chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and irrigation equipment
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair Company vehicles (pickup trucks, trailers, Landscape equipment)
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety issues
  • Complete oil changes, brake service, tire rotations, and other basic automotive maintenance
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulics, and other mechanical components
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs for all vehicles and equipment

Shop Organization & Inventory Management:

  • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shop space
  • Track and manage parts inventory, ensuring necessary stock levels are maintained
  • Order parts and supplies as needed, working with vendors and suppliers

Collaboration & Safety:

  • Work closely with the Fleet & Shop Manager and operations team to schedule repairs and minimize downtime
  • Prioritize safety by following all company policies and safety guidelines
  • Support the team with equipment training and proper usage practices
