Required Skills & Experience

- Experience with web based UI testing in a Windows environment

- Experience with black box, regression, unit, and sanity testing

- Experience with testing large data sets

- Experience and/or exposure to automation testing - modifying or executing code

- Experience working with test management systems (Test Rail preferred) and Selenium

- Experience with back-end Rest API testing

- Strong database experience and validating for large data sets

- Experience with troubleshooting, performance testing and data loading

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Uses or exposure to AI for efficiency

- Experience using "Test Rail" as a test management system

- Experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes

Job Summary

Insight Global is looking to bring on a Quality Assurance Tester for a professional services firm. You will be responsible for black box testing, sanity, regression and UI testing. The position is mostly manual testing but will have some automation elements with executing or modifying code. The testing is mostly on a web based windows application but there may be some web based API testing as well using C# and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have some experience working on large data sets and working in an agile environment. The candidate is required to work onsite in Kanata (99 Michael Cowpland Dr) 2x a week every Monday and Thursday.
