About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven and creative SEO Specialist to join our e-commerce team. You will be responsible for optimizing our website and content to improve search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and drive user engagement. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing strategists to implement best practices and drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and technical)
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Optimize website content, metadata, headings, and images for search engines
- Monitor and improve page speed, crawlability, indexing, and technical SEO elements
- Perform regular SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations
- Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, partnerships, and content marketing
- Track and report performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs
- Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging tools/technologies
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven SEO experience
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.
- Proficient in website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4)Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with local SEO and international SEO strategies
- Experience with GEO Strategies
- Knowledge of technical SEO aspects like schema markup, XML sitemaps, and canonicalization
- Familiarity with paid search (PPC) campaigns and integration with organic strategy
