The Manager, Marketing & Communications will play a pivotal role in managing and executing marketing projects that align with Epic's strategic goals in the commercial real estate sector. This role requires exceptional project management skills, enabling the successful candidate to lead and oversee multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, the Manager will ensure that all marketing projects-from digital content creation to property-specific campaigns-are delivered on time, within budget and align to the Epic brand. This role also includes managing a small team and working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the creation of marketing projects, including digital and print materials, presentations, proposals, and events.
  • Develop project plans, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies across multiple platforms, aligning content with Epic's brand and business objectives.
  • Create and curate engaging content, monitor performance, and adjust strategies based on analytics.
  • Write compelling briefs, website copy, and marketing materials that resonate with target audiences.
  • Develop creative concepts and execute designs using Adobe InDesign and other relevant tools.
  • Oversee the creation of presentations, proposals, and other materials for property management, leasing, and corporate initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the marketing team, ensuring efficient task delegation and high-quality delivery.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, overseeing the production of marketing collateral and negotiating contracts as needed.
  • Work closely with property management and leasing teams to develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to their specific needs.
  • Provide creative support for property marketing, including brochures, digital content, and promotional materials.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the commercial real estate sector.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling content across various platforms.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Capable with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experienced in managing corporate social media accounts.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with website management, SEO best practices, and content optimization.

Preferred

  • Experience in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Expertise in event planning or corporate communications.
  • Knowledge of project management tools like Asana, ClickUp, or Microsoft Planner.
