Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for administration and numbers? Our established law firm is seeking an experienced Office Manager and Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day operations and manage financial functions with precision and efficiency.
Location: Vaughan, Ontario
Position Type: Full-Time
Start Date: asap
Salary: $120,000 to start. Benefits package, indoor parking
Key Responsibilities:
Manage office operations, including HR, supplies, equipment, and vendor relations
Maintain and reconcile trust and general accounts in accordance with LSO guidelines
Prepare invoices, manage accounts receivable/payable, and handle payroll
Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and year-end preparation
Oversee administrative staff and support lawyers with scheduling and file management
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in office management and bookkeeping in a legal environment
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Clio, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
Knowledge of trust accounting and law firm billing practices
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain confidentiality
