Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be available to work in person and virtually from our downtown Ottawa office and have at least 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy. This role involves working closely with individual youth and adults providing capable, caring and non-judgemental psychotherapy services to our clients.

Duties

• Provide psychodynamic, integrative and/or client-centered oriented in-person and virtual psychotherapy services to individual youth and adults
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, assessments, and progress notes.
• Advocate for patients' rights and access to necessary services within the healthcare system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or Master's degree in Social Work; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience working with youth and adults providing counselling/psychotherapy services
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse population of clients
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• A second language is a strong asset

Musts:

• Member in good standing with College of Social Workers of Ontario
• Proof of Professional liability insurance
• Ability to work in person 2-3 days per week including at least one evening from our Ottawa office as well as ability to see clients virtually
