The Opportunity:

As the Mobile App Development Team Lead, your mission is to lead the technical modernization of our clients mobile app while mentoring a small team of developers. You will play a hands-on role rebuilding the app (using React Native) to enable cross-platform support, modernizing the UI/UX in collaboration with the design team, and delivering new features that enhance user experience in remote and mission-critical environments. You will also be instrumental in shaping the applications architecture ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable development practices, as well as overseeing the transition to a new offshore development partner.

This role will be critical to our client's next phase of growth. You will work closely with product, design, and the executive team to drive technical excellence and deliver a world-class mobile experience.

The Skills/Requirement Needed to Succeed:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile app development for iOS and/or Android
• 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring a team of developers
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, with a curiosity for solving problems and improving processes through innovation
• Strong proficiency in Swift/Objective-C (iOS) or Java/Kotlin (Android) and React Native
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
• Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
• Experience with RESTful APIs and mobile app integrations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for building high-quality, user-centric mobile applications
