Job Title: Food Team Member

Location: Greater Toronto Area (On-Site)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

About the Opportunity

We are hiring a dedicated and experienced Food Team Member for a fast-paced, customer-focused food service environment. This role involves overseeing daily operations, delivering exceptional service, maintaining food quality and safety, and supporting team performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Support & Coordination:
• Assist in training new staff, helping to maintain a productive, motivated, and well-organized team environment
• Customer Service:
• Provide friendly and efficient service, resolve inquiries or concerns, and contribute to a positive guest experience
• Food Quality & Safety:
• Ensure food handling practices meet health and safety standards, and maintain cleanliness and compliance at all times
• Operational Efficiency:
• Help monitor inventory, report stock needs, and follow operational procedures to reduce waste and increase efficiency
• Training & Development:
• Support ongoing learning initiatives and help maintain consistent service standards
• Reporting:
• Complete daily paperwork including production, quality, and inventory reports

Work Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Morning, day, and evening shifts available
• Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required
• On-site position

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months experience in the Food & Beverage industry (for candidates already in Canada)
• Minimum of 3 years experience (for candidates applying from outside Canada)
• English proficiency of CLB 6 or higher
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused
• Comfortable using food service technologies (e.g., POS systems, scheduling software)
