An excellent role on offer for a Design Manager looking to join a leading North American manufacturer, where you will work in a technically interesting and challenging role, whilst managing a team of experts.

Have you got a degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline? Have you got experience in working with or designing conveyor machines?

This leading North American company have been established for over 100 years, and they are leaders within their manufacturing sector. They work alongside many well-renowned clients, such as Mondelez, Saputo, Give and Go, amongst many others. Due to continued commitment from their loyal customers, they are looking for a Design Manager who will manage a team of experts.

In this role you will lead and manage a team of 4 mechanical designers, to oversee the design, development and execution of mechanical projects. You will also use Inventor to design and develop new and existing drawings. This will be a varied role where you will lead and mentor your team, whilst leading from the front and designing drawings too.

This role would ideally suit a Design Manager who has experience working on conveying systems, who is looking to join a leading north American manufacturer, where you will manage a team of professionals.

The Role:

Lead and develop a team of 4 designers

Design existing and new drawings using Inventor

Office based in Scarborough

$100,000 - $130,000 + Progression + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

Must have a mechanical engineering degree

Must have experience working with conveying systems
