Job Title: Technical Training & Development Specialist - Aerospace Manufacturing (Full-time)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Training & Development Specialist to lead the design, delivery, and management of specialized training programs for a growing aerospace manufacturing organization. This role focuses on developing workforce capabilities in compliance with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100, NADCAP, and Controlled Goods regulations.

The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, HR, and leadership teams to identify skill gaps, deliver hands-on and technical instruction, and support long-term employee development and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement aerospace-specific onboarding, upskilling, and performance development programs
  • Develop training materials on topics such as blueprint reading, composites, bonding, FAI, and aerospace structure assembly
  • Deliver technical and compliance training using modern, competency-based methods
  • Coach hiring managers and employees to strengthen technical and leadership skills
  • Ensure training programs align with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and generate data-driven insights for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with HR and operations to align learning strategies with business goals
  • Research and integrate emerging technologies and best practices into training programs

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 4-10 years of experience in training, talent development, HR, or operations within aerospace or advanced manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace production processes (composites, bonding, FAI, blueprint reading, electrical bonding, etc.)
  • Experience designing and delivering technical and hands-on training in a manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
