Must-have

• 12+ years of total experience in a QE or equivalent technical role, with 5+ years of QE Lead experience.
• We are seeking an experienced QQ/QE Lead with 12+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing. Specializing in UI, DB and ETL testing, who can lead small team.
• Knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application testing, development, and support
• Strong SQL knowledge. ETL Application testing experience. Knowledge of Testing Methodologies and Design techniques with hands on experience on qTest, JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong problem solving, design, and analytical skills and out of the box thinking producing creative solutions on testing approach in critical timelines.
• Define testing strategies, processes, and standards to ensure efficiency and consistency across projects.
• Hands-on experience in executing manual/automated test cases
• Implement and manage automation frameworks using modern testing tools. Experience in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools e.g., (Robot Framework and others ) and script development using scripting languages (e.g. Python).
• Ensure compatibility and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of industry practices with focus on Agile, DevOps, environments, and test integration.
• Experience working with various databases such as SQL Server, Oracle etc. using SQL involving joins, conditions, aggregate clauses.
• Excellent communication skills and effective negotiation skills
• Create, maintain, and manage detailed test plans and reporting to senior management for complex multi-application system integrations.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in both methodology and technical skills.

Nice-to-have

• Exposure to Python specifically pandas and NumPy libraries.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and big data tools.
• QA related certification. E.g. ISTQB, Agile testing, etc.
• Computer Engineering, Computer Science, degree/diploma, Finance & Technology background, or equivalent experience
• Financial product knowledge
