Explore your next role:
As a key member of the Information Technology department, the Application Support Analyst is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring that applications run smoothly and efficiently. This involves diagnosing problems, implementing solutions, and collaborating with business teams to enhance system performance.
Maintenance and Support of Company Software and Databases
- Responsible for supporting bespoke applications programmed with a variety of programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, Javascript) and database systems (e.g., MSSQL, Access, Pervasive)
- Act as Tier II support for escalations from Support Analyst
- Apply subject matter expertise by verifying design documents, and execute testing for new functionality
- Conduct application testing and provide database management support
- Upgrade and deploy key business applications (e.g., Dynamics 365, SQL, FOS, WinAir, Office 365)
Design and Implementation
- Work with business units to discuss their needs, whether it is the creation of a webpage for sales purposes, modification of an existing page to update information, or building additional functionality into our Intranet site to allow users to run custom reports
- Design and deploy new solutions to achieve specific business goals (e.g., API, PowerBI Reports, and workflows)
- Stay up to date with software and technology trends to serve needs that can vary widely
- Provide demos and application walkthroughs and training
- Align with IT resources to ensure high quality deliverables utilizing agile methodology for rapid delivery technology enablers
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
- Computer related College Diploma or Degree is required
- Minimum 5+ years related work experience in an Information Systems environment with demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Experience in Microsoft 365 Suite (Core Applications, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive)
- Experience with Azure
- Strong knowledge in automating workflows and repetitive tasks across multiple applications and services.
- Excellent working knowledge and experience with current internet technologies
- Basic knowledge of networking principles to help in diagnosing connectivity issues.
