Job Title: IAM Reliability Engineer

Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Type: 1-Year Contract (Strong possibility of extension)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IAM Reliability Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our authentication and identity infrastructure. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment, supporting both industry-standard and custom-built IAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level support for authentication and identity management systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full technology stack (infrastructure, OS, applications).
• Implement long-term improvements to enhance system stability, observability, and performance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to incidents via PagerDuty.
• Automate repetitive tasks and develop operational tooling for support teams.
• Collaborate with internal users, external clients, and vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Document processes and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5-6 years of experience in the Identity and Access Management domain.
• Strong understanding of authentication systems, identity protocols, and enterprise security standards.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and Unix Shell scripting.
• Basic system administration skills on Windows and Red Hat Linux platforms.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Java, Groovy, or C/C++ is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong interest in IDM, cryptography, and information security.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and in a team.
• Comfortable with end-user support and on-call responsibilities.
• Curious about emerging technologies such as cloud computing, web security, and multi-factor authentication.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

• ITIL, CISSP, or SRE-related certifications.
