• Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives ;
• Design and develop complex software systems and applications ;
• Deliver solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements ;
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing ;
• Implement and advocate for best practices in software engineering and design patterns ;
• Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies ;
• Lead efforts to refactor and optimize existing codebase for efficiency and maintainability ;
• Maintain and enhance existing software applications to optimize performance and functionality ;
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure software quality and reliability ;
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement ;
• Design efficient algorithms ;
• Select and implement suitable data structures to optimize memory and execution time ;
• Optimize performance to reduce computation time and memory consumption.

What do we expect from you ?

The minimum required skills necessary for this role :

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Core Java features: class loading, garbage collection, Java Collections API, Multithreading, Concurrency, Reflections API, Java Streams ;
• Experience working with Spring MVC framework, Spring boot, Rest API, JSON ;
• Experience with standard DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA ;
• Know how to choose between different approaches (greedy, divide & conquer, dynamic programming, etc.) ;
• Understand time and space complexities (O(n), O(log n), etc.).
• Hands on with Event Streaming Platforms such as Kafka is a plus ("nice-to-have") ;
• Hands on with MongoDB from an application developer perspective, is a plus ("nice-to-have").
