Job Overview
Great design is your forte. This role is responsible for the development and art direction for FIKA Company and its retail brands. Reporting into the Creative Design Manager you are responsible for ideating and developing creative materials to support the retail marketing calendar - including campaign design, brand building, print, and digital graphic design.
In this role as Graphic Designer, your key responsibilities include:
- The creation and execution of marketing & advertising materials, including but not limited to: email, website, in-store promotions, print collateral, social, signage, and more.
- Working closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders to develop creative that brings the brand to life.
- Testing, reviewing, and optimizing creative to drive results and continuous improvement.
- Keeping abreast of the industry, key market trends, consumer markets, and competitors to recognize challenges and opportunities.
- Reviewing design feedback and making revisions based on input to ensure satisfaction for all creative outputs.

Requirements
- Must have a portfolio of previous work available.
- Have a minimum 2 years' experience in retail marketing and/or advertising, working on multiple projects at a time.
- Have post-secondary education in graphic design or equivalent.
- Superior expertise of Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign is required.
- Able to leverage technology, with strong proficiency in MS Office & Adobe suite.
- Strong communication skills, providing constant updates with all team members on projects.
- Have exceptional organizational and follow-through skills, never missing a deadline.
- A strong eye for detail and passion for creative design.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
