Role Description
This is an internship role for a Content Manager at Sakoodle.
We're looking for a resourceful and creative Content Manager Intern to support the day-to-day execution of content and marketing initiatives. If you're the kind of person who loves juggling ideas, organizing chaos into clarity, and bringing content to life, this role is for you.
You'll work closely with me (the founder/strategist) to manage content production from ideation to execution, helping brainstorm strategies, organize tasks, keep projects moving, and ensure our content actually sees the light of day.
What You'll Do
Project Manage Content Creation
- Keep our content machine running, from managing shoots to tracking to-dos and deadlines
- Help manage the full content workflow: strategy, creation, review, and delivery
- Support with light editing or coordination with editors as needed
Manage the Posting Calendar
- Own and update the content calendar using Hootsuite (or another scheduling tool)
- Ensure content is queued, on-brand, and aligned with strategy
- Keep track of post-performance and engagement
Research & Ideation
- Stay up to date on industry trends, platform algorithms, and best practices
- Conduct competitive research and bring fresh ideas to the table
- Help brainstorm creative campaign concepts, series, and hooks
Assist with Visual Execution
- Help replicate and tweak templates using Canva or Figma
- Support with organizing brand assets and creative files
What We're Looking For
- A self-starter who loves organizing, creating, and getting things done
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Bonus: basic Canva/ Adobe suite skills and a good visual eye
- Must be comfortable taking the initiative and keeping the team on track
- Some experience in content creation, content management, and content strategy
- Some experience in creating a content strategy and implementing it on LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
- Some Analytical skills for content performance metrics
- Ability to take initiative and manage deadlines independently
- Comfortable using or learning tools like Hootsuite, Canva, Google Drive, and Notion
- Proactive attitude - not afraid to follow up, check-in, or remind the team.
- Reliable access to a phone, laptop, and internet connection
- 1-3 years of experience in content management
