Job Description: ServiceNow Developer
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be joining our client's ServiceNow Development team within Enterprise Services & Modern Applications (ESMA) to foster ideation and impact their digital and agile transformation by enhancing the banking experience. As a ServiceNow Developer, you'll be responsible for the technical design, development, and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.

How You'll Succeed
- Collaborative Development
- Contribute to agile team goals by collaborating with other functional teams, participating in Scrum ceremonies, and expanding the team's technical capabilities. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative ServiceNow solutions to meet business objectives while maintaining existing applications.
- Programming Ability
- Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities such as developing specifications, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting to ensure successful implementation and maintenance. Design application infrastructure using appropriate databases, programming languages, utilities, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Lead & Influence
- Lead code review sessions to ensure code quality meets business and project requirements. Provide support during production and user acceptance testing to troubleshoot complex problems. Support the transition from Waterfall to Agile practices.
Who You Are
- You have 4+ years of development experience focused on custom applications in ServiceNow.
- You've worked with modules including ITSM, ITAM, ITBM, and ITOM, and have experience with Service Catalog, Service Portal, API integrations, and case exchange.
- You apply ITIL best practices in ServiceNow, particularly in ITSM.
- You're comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- You're a strong communicator, independent problem-solver, and possess a customer-focused mindset.
Core ServiceNow Development Skills
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow design, workflows, and JavaScript development
- Experience with MID server installation and troubleshooting
- Skilled in building REST/SOAP/Scripted web service integrations
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting and developing Ansible playbooks
- Experience with CMDB and Discovery, Service Portal, and IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Holding certifications such as ITIL, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, and Certified ServiceNow Developer is preferred
Added Skills (Nice to Have)
- Powershell scripting and MID server automation
- Experience with ServiceNow Orchestration, Integration Hub, and Ansible automation
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tool integrations
- Experience using Flow Designer and Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
