ServiceNow ITOM ITAM with Integration and Automation (Contract Position)

Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 6 months initial contract

Location: Toronto, ON, CA

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Hybrid position, 2-3d/w onsite in office either in Toronto or Montreal, 7hr/d billing, no exceptions

ServiceNow Expertise

A minimum of 5+yrs of ServiceNow Platform Expertise

Proficient in core functionalities of the ServiceNow platform.

Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules: Event Management, Discovery, Orchestration, and Cloud Management.

Strong knowledge in ServiceNow ITAM, including Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

Configuration and Customization

Scripting skills, particularly with JavaScript, to customize and enhance the ServiceNow platform.

Experienced in configuring and implementing CMDB, creating relationships between CIs, and applying best practices for data governance.

Asset and Software Management

Asset Management

Expertise in asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirement of IT assets.

Experience in creating and maintaining asset management records in ServiceNow.

Familiarity with asset management policy development and compliance monitoring.

Software Management

Software Reconciliation

Proficient in conducting software license reconciliation using ServiceNow's Software Asset Management module.

Ability to compare discovered software installations against purchased licenses to ensure compliance.

Experience in identifying and resolving discrepancies in software usage and licensing.

Software Metering

Experience with software metering to monitor and track software application usage across the organization.

Ability to analyze software usage data to optimize licensing and reduce costs.

Integration and Automation

System Integration

Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), Intune, and Jamf for asset data, deployment information, and usage statistics.

Proficiency with MSSQL, including writing and optimizing queries for data integration and manipulation.

Experience with API-driven integrations and web services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).

Automation and Orchestration

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and ServiceNow Orchestration to automate workflows.

Nice to have skills:

Cloud Technologies

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, OpenShit, especially in relation to ITOM processes.

Understanding of cloud asset management practices.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting

Ability to diagnose issues related to ServiceNow deployments and integrations and propose effective solutions.
