Job Title: Java Developer Lead

Job Type: 6 month contract-to-hire, 1 day a week on-site (Wednesdays), in Toronto.

Job Salary: $60 - $65 / Hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Lead Senior Java Developer that can join one of the leading banks as a development lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership from a development perspective and work closely with the scrum masters to ensure all projects are running smoothly within the Digital Technology line of business.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Expert experience in Java

-Spring/Springboot

-Database experience (CIBC uses Oracle)

-Microservices framework experience

-7-10 years experience as a back end developer

-Great communication skills/ has been in a senior dev or leadership position in the past to help drive direction

-Need to have banking background

-Experience in Agile enviroments

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Experience with State Machine Framework

-Experience with integration testing using Wire Mock
