About the Role

C-VALLEY is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team, to cultivate and manage sales and retailer relationships in Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec). We will consider candidates who are fluent in English and who can travel to accounts in the region.

This role will manage all sales functions for assigned accounts to ensure the business grows according to sales projections. The position will be responsible for account financial planning, assortment planning, developing, and implementing sales plans, coordinating product showings, and working closely with marketing to process orders.

You'll Make a Difference By

  • Regular product showings and account visits, approach and onboard new accounts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential retail/wholesale partners
  • Providing retailer base with sales reports and analytics to drive business and produce top results
  • Forecasting of territory business on a seasonal basis
  • Territory feedback regarding market trends and influences
  • Identifying growth opportunities in territory
  • Providing regular product educational feedback to retailers and their staff
  • Attending trade shows and seasonal sales meetings
  • Coordinating shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services
  • Preparing a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
  • Achieve sales target quarterly and annually

About You

  • Valid driver's license required
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
  • Experience in sales, experience in footwear is a bonus but not required
  • Ability to reach out to new contacts, establish rapport and establish new accounts
  • Confidence in communicating comfortably with business owners and decision makers
  • Strong computer skills - Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Exceptional written, oral and face-to-face communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, and work independently
  • Strong retail math skills
  • Self-starter and motivated for success
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Ability to consistently meet sales goals
  • Effective Order book management minimizing sales and credit caused cancellations
  • Previous wholesale sales experience is preferred
  • Physically able to assist with lifting and packaging footwear products when needed
