As Store Manager, you'll play an essential role in shaping the store's performance, culture, and reputation. You'll foster an environment where customers feel valued and team members are empowered, all while ensuring operational excellence and achieving business targets.

Description

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and inspire a team of supervisors and associates to deliver exceptional service and achieve store goals
  • Coach and develop your team through performance feedback, training, and recognition
  • Promote a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork

Customer Experience & Community Engagement

  • Champion a customer-first approach by ensuring every shopper receives friendly and knowledgeable service
  • Address customer concerns with care, creating positive and lasting impressions
  • Support community connections by reflecting the values and needs of the people the store serves

Store Operations & Performance

  • Oversee day-to-day operations including opening/closing, cash handling, safety, and compliance
  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and drive sales and profitability targets
  • Monitor and optimize inventory flow and shrink reduction strategies

Merchandising & Presentation

  • Ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, and visually aligned with merchandising standards
  • Implement promotional and seasonal merchandising plans with attention to detail and timing
  • Adapt product displays based on customer demand and store-level insights

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive retail leadership experience in general merchandise or a related format
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of store financials, operations, and merchandising
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
