Key Responsibilities:

Development & Maintenance:

• Development: Developing and modifying mainframe applications, often using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Testing: Writing and executing unit tests and integration plans to ensure applications meet specifications.
• Maintenance: Troubleshooting, fixing bugs, and ensuring the smooth operation of existing mainframe applications.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other developers, systems engineers, and business teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Documentation: Creating technical documentation for applications and systems.
• Performance Tuning: Optimizing applications to improve performance and efficiency.

Education:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
