GENERAL SUMMARY:

As Cleveland Clinic Canada continues to grow quickly across Canada, you'll play a key role in driving our expansion. As Corporate Health Advisor, Advisor/Broker Partnerships, you'll be tasked with establishing and nurturing a network of brokers and consultants across Canada. The ideal candidate will bring direct experience in the Canadian broker sector, along with strong channel MarComms skills. In this role, you'll help drive the growth of our Cleveland Clinic Canada business by increasing awareness of the ways we can help provide patient care and corporate strategic directorship and, in turn, strengthening our market presence through these key relationships.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifying and leading opportunities to increase awareness of the ways Cleveland Clinic Canada can help within the consultant/broker community
  • Cultivating new broker relationships and influencing their decision-making processes
  • Leading lead generation efforts to secure new business with organizations through brokers and consultants
  • Building strategic relationships with key contacts in our target market, including Canadian benefits and HR consultants
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and identifying opportunities to negotiation, closing, launching, and smoothly transitioning the relationship over to the Account Management team
  • Project management of program/service launches for clients. The ideal candidate will have project management experience where they have been the lead on the launch, designing launch plans and communications plans, while effectively communicating details between all involved stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of new business opportunities to ensure sales targets are met
  • Using CRM software to track and manage the sales process
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to grow external relationships, including marketing, operations, clinical operations, and legal
  • Act as an advocate within Cleveland Clinic to support the client/patient should challenges in service deliver arise
  • Develop strategic account plans and prepare/maintain weekly sales funnel
  • Develop strategic account plans and business plans
  • Strong legal acumen required to manage contract negotiations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience working with consultants/brokers within the health and wellness industry, and a proven history of success in complex B2B or solution sales
  • In-depth knowledge of virtual care, employee health and wellness
  • Consistent history of meeting and exceeding annual quotas of $2M+ in new revenue
  • Expertise in building influential relationships across all organizational levels
  • Strong business acumen and organizational skills, with a strategic approach to managing client relationships
  • Self-motivated in generating pipeline opportunities and driving business development
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt and excel in fast-paced environments
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM platforms for data-driven decision-making
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region(s) as required
  • Strong legal acumen with the ability to take the lead on contract negotiations with internal legal counsel
  • Strong project management is a requirement - the successful candidate must be able to speak to successful product/service launches they have led with clients

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • College diploma or university degree or equivalent experience
  • Professional Sales certification(s) or training is a strong asset
