We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (BA) to support ongoing enhancements and regulatory updates related to the (CRA) digital portals. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to assess and implement changes required to maintain compliance, improve user experience, and streamline portal functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements related to CRA portal changes.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses for proposed changes to the CRA portal and related systems.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with internal teams, CRA representatives, and external vendors as needed.
  • Prepare business cases, user stories, and process flows to support solution design and development.
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams during testing phases; ensure user acceptance testing (UAT) meets business expectations.
  • Maintain documentation related to change management, process improvement, and portal configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with CRA regulatory guidelines and coordinate timely delivery of portal updates.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of CRA regulations, tax reporting, or digital government portals is a must.
  • Experience with portal development or support, ideally within financial institutions or government projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, document management systems, or security/compliance frameworks is a plus.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in downtown Toronto, 2 days remote.
  • Standard business hours; occasional extended hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
