Position: Commercial Lines Account Manager

Location: Downtown Toronto, Hybrid Schedule

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

Our client, a boutique insurance brokerage, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support a diverse book of commercial business and client portfolios. This role involves negotiating new business, renewals, and remarkets while delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the practice group, maintain strong relationships with underwriters, and ensure full compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Practice Leader and team members to share insurer updates and product information.

- Negotiate and secure new business, renewals, and remarkets.

- Present risk assessments to underwriters and issue binding instructions.

- Review marketing submissions and prepare detailed comparisons for producers.

- Handle renewals, client inquiries, endorsements, and all related documentation.

- Issue certificates of insurance and assist producers in servicing client needs.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial lines within a brokerage environment.

- Active RIBO licence required.

- Experience with insurance software platforms.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
