Akkodis is seeking a JAMF Admin for a contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally looking for experience with maintaining the JAMF Pro environment across 1500 macOS, JAMF-related issues, JAMF API devices preference would be someone with the required skills and experience, particularly in large organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Write and deploy custom Bash scripts to uninstall unauthorized or unnecessary applications across the Mac fleet
• Administer and maintain the JAMF Pro environment across 1500 macOS devices
• Maintain system integrity by enforcing compliance standards and improving endpoint security posture
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to ensure Mac devices align with corporate standards
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for JAMF-related issues
• Assist with system audits, reporting, and automation of operational tasks
• Stay current with macOS, JAMF, and scripting best practices and implement improvements accordingly
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in macOS administration, with at least 3 years dedicated to JAMF Pro
• Expert-level proficiency in Bash scripting, especially for application removal and system configuration on macOS
• Proven experience automating large-scale app uninstalls and device configuration using JAMF
• Familiarity with extension attributes, smart groups, policies, and JAMF API
• Strong understanding of macOS security principles, including device hardening and compliance enforcement
• Comfortable working in enterprise environments with thousands of endpoints
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to document processes clearly
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is an asset
• JAMF 300 or 400 certification is preferred
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Python or Swift for macOS automation
• Familiarity with Apple Business Manager
• Exposure to MDM migrations or zero-touch deployment strategies
