Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Legal and Corporate Administrator with 10+ years of experience to support our legal and executive teams in ensuring compliance, and supporting key administrative functions in our real estate investment operations. This role is critical in maintaining integrity, supporting transaction execution, and managing corporate records for a growing real estate portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal:
- Support legal counsel in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, leases, NDAs, and real estate transactional documents.
- Liaise with internal and external counsel on property acquisitions, financings, and corporate matters.
Corporate:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records, entity databases, and organizational charts.
- Prepare board resolutions, shareholder consents, and minutes for corporate meetings.
- Coordinate annual filings, business licenses, and renewals for multiple legal entities.
- Assist in the formation and dissolution of legal entities in domestic and international jurisdictions.
Real Estate Operations Support:
- Oversee due diligence checklists and coordinate with legal, finance, and asset management teams during property acquisitions and dispositions.
- Track and manage critical dates for leases, renewals, and compliance filings.
- Assist with the execution and archiving of legal documents related to property transactions and financing.
Administrative and Strategic Support:
- Manage contract management systems and ensure timely document execution and filing.
- Act as a point of contact for legal and corporate inquiries from internal departments.
- Support investor relations and reporting through proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure consistency across corporate policies and legal documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field; Paralegal certification or legal training is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a legal administrative or corporate governance role, ideally within a real estate investment or asset management firm.
- Strong understanding of real estate transactional processes, corporate structures, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, legal document management systems, and compliance tracking tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
